PLEASE NOTE : Travel Fees outside of 15km or more
An additional fee of $30 per lesson for when pick up address is outside 15km of our depot in Salisbury. When booking online, there is the option of selecting the correct lesson for when outside the 15km radius. Before the lesson, Simply The Best Driving School will review the lesson selected and review your address to make sure the correct lesson was chosen. Payment of the lesson through the online booking system is acknowledgement that you have selected the correct lesson to the best of your knowledge. If the review reveals an incorrect lesson selection, the correct amount will need to be paid before the commencement of the lesson. This can either be done with the driving instructor at the time of the lesson or beforehand. Simply The Best Driving School will contact you if this occurs.
1.5 hr Lessons

The time spent looking at your abilities as a driver will enable a more structured approach to your experience, meaning less time practicing with us and more time spent enjoying your newfound driving freedom! Every person is different and we continue to tailor the lessons to your personal needs and goals so you get the most out of each one.
2 hr lessons
120mins $205
Step by Step tailored lessons and driver education which will provide you with the skills required to be a safe and confident driver for life. These lessons help you prepare for the Vehicle On Road Test (VORT) – a pass or fail driving exam that marks you on 5 low-speed manoeuvres and other general driving skills.
10hr lesson package
$1025
The 1.5 hour of the package will be used to asses where your at. Build your confidence and skills with this personally tailored driving package. Make a commitment to yourself, gain momentum whilst on the road and build common awareness and perception.
The 10 hour lesson package will no doubt have you confident and ready for more! The course is specifically structured to work on any weaknesses highlighted from the assessment, then build on your strengths, ensuring you make solid progress with Simply the Best Driving School.
Overseas licence conversion
2hr lessons

If you are converting from an overseas driver’s licence to a South Australian driver’s licence, it pays to have professional driver training and coaching before attempting the Vehicle on Road Test (VORT)
If you have an overseas drivers licence or permit, you must get a South Australian drivers licence or permit within 3 months of becoming a permanent resident of South Australia.
Learner permits and learner licences from overseas are not able to be converted to a South Australian learners permit.
VORT Preparation Lessons
2hrs (120min) $250
Simply The Best recommends having the two (2) hr driving lessons prior to the VORT test as the standard required to pass is very specific. It is a guided and supportive coaching lesson giving you invaluable overview of the format of the VORT test, how it works and what to expect when you sit the test.
The student must score 90% or better to pass the test. Unfortunately, many people who sit a VORT test without prior training tend to fail.
A driving instructor that trains a student cannot do the testing. The test must be done by another “Authorised” examiner.
VORT Test Booking Only
This will be available to be booked once you are competent to meet the standards of the VORT test in South Australia. To pass a VORT you must demonstrate 5 slow speed manoeuvres and in combination with the general drive score a pass mark of 90% or more and not breach any road law during the drive. Any breach of road law will result in an immediate fail and the test will be terminated.

ALL BOOKINGS WILL REQUIRE A $30 DEPOSIT
Any lesson paid in full at the time of booking via direct debit or credit card and would have paid the deposit of $30. The $30 is included in the total and is not an additional cost.
The remainder of any outstanding payments must be made 24hrs prior to lesson via credit card or Direct Debit as per the invoice sent at time of booking. If paying by cash, this must be paid before the start of the lesson.
